Mullinasole Pavilion
Set within rural Ireland, this project radically reworks a modest bungalow into a contemporary landscape house.
The design replaces the traditional domestic form with a low, linear pavilion that sits quietly among mature trees, grassland and woodland. Stone walls, metal cladding, deep glazing and planted roof edges allow the architecture to merge into the site rather than sit apart from it.
Large glazed openings frame views towards the surrounding landscape and nearby stream, blurring the line between house, garden and countryside.
A dramatic before-and-after transformation — from ordinary Irish bungalow to refined contemporary rural architecture.
