Lisardahla Pavilion

Accessed from a shared laneway this replacement dwelling is neatly nestled into its intimate surroundings of mature vegetation, grasslands, and dense woodland.

The clients wished to achieve a very contemporary dwelling which respects the landscape and the site within which it sits. The concept for the design was to create a rural Irish pavilion. Whilst taking into consideration the views and orientation the plan layout is a simple efficient rectangular shape, eliminating any waste of unnecessary space. Large, glazed openings visually connect the inside with the outside.

The materials selected for the dwelling reflected materials local to the site, interpreted in a contemporary manner.
